Hey guys and welcome back to my channel. So in today's video we're going to be
doing a sportswear haul. Well it's actually it's a mix of kind of active
wear and also casual pieces but they're still secretly active wear. So we're
gonna be reviewing Halara. Now Halara is a really cool brand where they don't
just do kind of sport looking pieces but everything is super stretchy and feels
like leggings. So I've seen them all over my social media and I thought now's the
time for us to actually review what they're like and see if they're as
lovely as they seem. So Halara very kindly sent me these pieces today but I
did choose them all so all opinions are my own but everything will be linked
down below in the order that I tried on so you can kind of use me as reference
if you would like to. But that being said let's get to it. So up first we have a
pair of three quarter length leggings but they look like jeans. Now I used to
live in these about ten years ago when I was growing up.
Jeggings were my favorite thing ever so they were jeans well they were leggings
that looked like jeans and they kind of went out of fashion probably rightfully
so because the ones I were wearing were not as cute as these but they are coming
back around so fashion at the moment is doing a complete kind of 180 and things
that you know were really popular in the past are all coming back in again and I
am loving it. So I thought I had to try these so they are literally leggings
that look like jeans and they have no pockets on the front so that's all kind
of just stitch design but that's what's lovely is they're not just printed like
jeans that's actually like a stitched pocket so these are just a lot nicer
than the ones I've seen in the past and you actually have pockets on the back so
you basically get all the positives of leggings being super stretchy
elasticated waistband no metal whatsoever so perfect for metal
detectors if you travel a lot and super comfy for sitting on long planes
actually or long journeys so they're like a win-win but they look like jeans
I mean look at the color of this denim as well you would never know that I'm
not showing you a pair of jeans right now but they are so stretchy I am obsessed
with them and so they are like a they're as tight as leggings so they're gonna be
like spray-painted on jeans I would describe them as and I did go for an
extra small but I think it's kind of cute little capri length jeans they
could work but it's not really a style I've gone for much of you know most of
my jeans are kind of full length or shorts you know I never go for this
middle length but I like it in skirts so I thought I might like it in jeans so
let's just put them on and see what we think of them this is what they look
like on and these are such a perfect fit and I actually really like the length of
them so as you can see they come to like my mid shin and I never normally go for
that length and I actually really like it I think they'll be really cute to
wear with kind of nice little wedges and as they're like that perfect kind of
high waist they literally are in line with my belly button there I just think
they they almost make you look taller because it still looks like a normal
length jean but you've got all this left over legs so it's like ah look at me but
I might be that might be the complete wrong way round it might be that full
length trousers make you look taller I don't know I just in these I feel very
lovely I think and I can't believe their leggings they look so like jeans but
they are they are a hundred percent leggings you just never know it and I'm
really happy I went for the extra small because look at how tight that is to my
waist like that is a perfect fit and they still fit the rest of me so it's
always a little bit tricky for me with size guides when it comes to this sort
of stuff because if I do my measurements around like my hips and butt they always
want me to go for kind of a small or medium but my waist always wants an
extra small so I usually sit in the middle at a small but when I looked at
her Lara's size God actually thought you know what they have so much spandex in
this fabric I'm gonna go for extra smalls and I'm so happy I did because I
mean look at this fit I don't think I would have got as nice of a fit with a
small so I'm really happy I did that so if you're built like me you can use me
as an example but I think an extra small or a small would fit great in these
because they are all super stretchy so my waist is about 26 inches but I'll
write it all in the description below so you can use me as a guide but I
absolutely love these I can't wait to wear these they're so 1950s love it so
next up we have a pair of flare jeans now these are from the same collection as
these three quarter lengths so these are the Hilara magic pants and I got these
ones in a flare style but look at this crisscross waistband it's so like yoga
trousers and that's just gonna be so comfortable to wear so they're super
high-waisted super flared now these are obviously full-length trousers and I
went for this kind of acid wash grey I just thought that would go with pretty
much everything so I just thought they're super stretchy and I also thought
these are great pieces for kind of if you're traveling a lot so going through
an airport they look like jeans but they feel like you're wearing leggings or
tracksuits so it's so perfect you get to look like you've tried with your outfit
but also have the comfort of leggings so it's kind of like a win-win and now they
do do these in kind of the blue colors as well so if you're not a fan of this
grey they have like a selection of colors but as usual everything's linked
down below so you can check it out but let's just throw these on and see what
they look like okay these ones are incredible but quick pointer they were a
lot harder to get on than three quarter length ones before now I did get them in
an extra small as well and the waist fits beautifully but I think it's almost
a slightly kind of tighter stretch on these ones than the three quarter length
ones so just keep that in mind if you're as hippie as me and you don't like to
wiggle into jeans these might not be the ones for you you might want to go for a
size small rather than extra small but in terms of like the actual trouser
amazing and these ones actually have pockets on the front so I mean you would
never even know that these are not jeans like if you wore a jumper that covered
the kind of stretchy waistband these are just really flattering jeans and because
they're so stretchy they actually kind of work with your curves rather than
like flattening them or anything like that and that's why everyone loves
wearing yoga pants because they always feel amazing in them because they
enhance kind of your assets well whereas like jeans it's always so hard to find
the right ones because you're trying to work with kind of a lot sturdier fabric
whereas these you get the best of all worlds now they are a little bit I
wouldn't say long like they're kind of a perfect length for my height and I'm
five foot five or 165 centimeters but everything will be down below and for
reference but with like a nice pair of like heeled boots I just think they're
lovely that they really hug the shape and I love the kind of dip here they it's
a really flattering waistband so if you wear them with kind of a crop top even a
crop top like this it has like the reverse of it which I think works really
nicely with the style of trouser so I think I'm definitely gonna have to get
these in the blue as well so they do them in the blue denim that I was just
wearing and I think that would be so wearable but how beautiful are these they
fit so nicely and even though they were a little bit of a wiggle for me to get
them on I think once I've worn them you know only a few times I think that won't
be so much of a wiggle and so I think they'll adjust to my shape but I try to
give you guys the full effect of them because they are really flared but in a
lovely way like they are just so nice yeah I'm gonna get a lot of wear out
these ones and if you suddenly need to you know do some gymnastics in them or
you know do a workout you're ready you're ready for every occasion in these
which is perfect so up next we have a Palazzo pants now I've always wanted to
try a pair of these and I absolutely fell in love with the color of these
ones so these are like a deep crimson and I went for an extra small in these
as well so they're just super stretchy waistband but then they're very breezy
so these are from their Breezeful collection so in the hot weather like
the legs actually open up so I think I just need to put these on because right
now it's probably just looking like a crazy amount of fabric but I think these
are one of the ones where you just have to like trust the process of the clothes
and on they're just gonna be like really easy to wear so I'm gonna throw these on
and we can see what they look like so the blue was just not going with the
crimson so I changed into this white kind of sports bra that they sent me as
well it's just a really lovely yoga top and it's so soft to touch it is just
such an essential I think to anyone's wardrobe is to have like a white it's a
white top but you can also wear it for yoga it's like a win-win you can just
wear it for anything and it's so nice to wear like it has spaghetti straps but
they are so soft you can't even feel them so I really recommend this and it
comes in every color under the Sun and I mean every color because I got it in
another one so I got it in like a green as well but you'll see this one in a
minute with another look and so let's go back to the Palazzo pants which to be
honest they live up to their name they are incredibly Breezeful but I love the
fact that they're just kind of wide leg open leg pants and from the back they
just look like normal ones so I mean these are really fun I'm not sure I love
them as much as I was expecting like a kind of I feel like they might need like
a popper at the base there so I keep them together or maybe not I don't know
let me know what you think of these they could to be honest they kind of look
like a skirt I think I can definitely get some wear out of them but they're
very cute and so comfy to wear like you don't even feel like you're wearing
anything like these are great for just kind of hot weather I mean exploring
around and they're very clever with how they kind of open up the legs without
you know opening up too much so you get all that airflow but you're also covered
so they're quite perfect for like really hot climbers but I'm not sure I would
like I don't think I would use them for sport because I feel like I'd get
tangled in the fabric but in terms of like casual wear or traveling they're a
really cute option so yeah bit unusual for my usual taste but definitely
workable I've already got the top on from this set but here is the scored so
this isn't like a matching set they just have on their website like lots of tops
and lots of scores and so I kind of piece this one together I just loved the
simplicity of this top I just thought it will go with jeans if I want it to like
I can wear it actually like practically every day or I can wear it to the gym or
to yoga you know and just it's like a I can wear it for anything it's just a
really nice white tank top with a built-in sports bra so it's perfect and
then I thought I'd try this skirt so it's a plain white at the front and then
it's got this lovely kind of gray line around the back so this is a tennis
score now I'm not really a tennis player I'm more of a let me just take the tag
off more of a badminton player but I think they overlap anyway or maybe I'll
just have to start playing tennis who knows because I feel like that line
looks a bit like a tennis ball so I feel like now I might have to start
playing tennis but it's very cute and I thought you know what scores are so
practical and so in right now they're just great in the summer because you can
wear you know you can have all your leg out but you've got the comfort of little
shorts underneath and it's a really cute skirt I just think they're just the best
design ever so let's try them on and see what it looks like so I feel like this
set just works so beautifully and I love the shape of this score so it's not
actually too kind of skatery so I've got another different style score to show
you at the end here but it's kind of done in two parts so I think it like
falls really beautifully kind of over my curve so it just fits really nice and I
just love the kind of it's not too flared out it's actually it's just a
very practical kind of sports skirt and the shorts look they actually come down
the same length as the skirt like for once the shorts are actually a decent
length which I really I really respect actually because normally with scores
like they do have shorts built in but some of those shorts they just don't
count as shorts so these are actually this is a really practical skirt for
sport so if you you know if you're looking for like a really cute tennis
outfit or any sort of sport outfit that's a skirt you know as well as a
pair of shorts I think Halara have nailed them like these are just so like
movable that's super super cute so love the fact it's got a split hem here
because you can actually move so you get the you know the best of both worlds you
get the kind of tighter looking skirt but all the movement you could want so yes
10 out of 10. I've already teased this top to you so this is the green version or
peridot version of the one I'm wearing so I just absolutely love this color
green and I thought I'd try like a two-tone look so I got that top and then
I got these kind of flared green yoga trousers to match so these are like a
much more kind of deep khaki but I thought they're really cute and I love
the kind of contrasting stitch because that's gonna match that sports bra
perfectly only thing is is they didn't have these in a regular leg I think when
I was looking so I did get them in a petite leg now I'm not normally a
petite leg but I thought maybe when I'm barefoot I might get away with the
length of them so we're just gonna have to put these on and hope I can pull them
off but they are such a lovely color I mean I just love it let's put them on
and what's great is look you can literally mix and match so this is the
green one with the white score and it still looks like it was meant to go
together so you can kind of play around with all the different colored tops
they've got and all the different color scores and make your own pieces and
that's why I love kind of the two-piece options their dresses are beautiful as
well I'll link them down below as well so you can check out their dress
collections if you prefer kind of all-in-ones but I just I love the kind
of practicality of being able to wear the tops with one thing and the skirts
with another but maybe I'll try their dresses another time I just thought I'd
show you how lovely this green looks with the skirt this looks exactly how I
wanted it to look and I'm even more impressed like I love the fit of this
look how high-waisted these trousers are and they kind of all their pieces sit
perfectly together I mean these don't even overlap at all but there's like no
in-between skin you know you get to see a little bit you know it's two pieces
but say I was like rolling everywhere doing yoga they they're just perfect I
absolutely I rate these so much and the trousers they fit beautifully and you
don't have to like wiggle them too high or too low if that makes sense they just
fit how you want them to fit they're not too kind of they're not wedging me
anywhere not at the front not at the back they just are such a kind of
flawless fit I really really like these and the length of the petite is not too
bad I mean you can see that it's like hovering just above my foot I think I
get away with it fine it's just a little bit more obvious because they're flared
whereas I think with leggings you can get away with them being like one
centimeter too short because no one really notices no I think the length of
these is like bang on it could not be like a millimeter shorter but no I
absolutely I love this look like it's so nice that it's not black but you've got
all the security of kind of a dark color so if you're not someone who likes to
work out in light colors I feel like these would still disguise sweat
patches really well so I really really love this set I think I'm going to be
living in this for everything and the final set is probably my favorite color
ever I'm so excited for this one so this is a matching kind of sports set and so
I went for a skort but it's a bit of a different style to the white one you
just saw so this one has the famous kind of crisscross waistband and it looks
tiny off a body but I did go for the extra small but you can see there is
just a lovely kind of high waist crisscross and then it's more of a
skater skirt so this doesn't have oh it does actually it has a split hem
completely oh see Halara know what they're doing they understand that if
they do it as one kind of complete piece of fabric you've got less movement so
they have nailed this but I think that's going to be so flattering I love that
it's in two pieces it means that you know my butt's not going to kind of
cause tension in the front which is a common issue with like other skorts I've
tried so that is a really good design aspect I rate that so let's just put
these on and one thing I was wondering do they have pockets in the shorts they
do look at that you can get your phone in there your keys that's just so
practical I love that so that's the skirt and now I did get the matching top in a
size small rather than extra small and mainly because I think the extra small
wasn't in stock when I looked but I thought I could probably wear everything
on in on Halara in a small or extra small I think my waist just prefers the
extra small that's it so um yeah you can kind of use me as a guide but if you see
something you really like you can kind of play around with your sizes a little
bit don't be too scared the stuff here is beautifully stretchy which is a total
win so it's just this kind of simple crop top like this but it is crisscross
so it's completely backless like that so let's put it on and see what it looks
like what an incredible haul this has been everything is a perfect fit I mean
I have no flaws for this whatsoever like this skirt they've thought about
everything like it just fits so nicely this is in two panels so it moves
beautifully I can move in it it's so it's still like I said with the other
one it's not too flared either so their skirts are just kind of the perfect
amount of floaty without it being too floaty and the waistband I really love
these kind of crisscross waistbands it really kind of cinches in the waist so
it's a really flattering style and the size small sports bra fits beautifully
it's got this kind of lovely almost like thick halter straps and then the back of
it I mean that's just incredible so if you prefer kind of more you know
crisscrossy designs or unusual sports bras Halara do so many designs like I've
only scratched the surface with the styles I've showed you today like just
check out the website they have so many pieces everything's really affordable
the tops and the skirts to be honest I'm obsessed with every piece like I really
like how they've made the stuff but they've just thought about things and
again with this score the shorts are a perfect length they're not too long and
not too short so you don't like see them you don't see them underneath the skirt
but you can feel they're there so I'm not like conscious that you know the
shorts are smaller than my pants if that makes sense so wow absolutely love
this color again they do these sets in every color of the rainbow so if this
sort of color isn't for you don't worry about it they've got whatever color you
can think of so that is all I have to show you today so I'm kind of sad that
that is all the pieces because everything was just like a winner
winner winner so I don't think there's anything on their website that I would
try that would make me go not sure about that I love all of it so really really
