$115 maternity leggings or $30 maternity leggings? If you have social media, I'm pretty sure Bumpsuit has targeted you with their ads, I caved in and bought a few Bumpsuit leggings & compared them to A Pea in the Pod's maternity legging sold through Target. HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS AFTER TRY ONS! BONUS: In this video, I will also try on a maternity shorts from Blanqi and provide my POV. I'll also share some non-maternity leggings I've been wearing throughout my pregnancy. note: Bumpsuit and Blanqi charge a return fee which can be annoying, even more of a reason why I am sharing my review so you can avoid any unnecessary fees :) Target's LuxeEssential Maternity legging is originally $48 but currently on sale for $30 if bought online :) product links: Target: https://rb.gy/iiu0b Bumpsuit: https://rb.gy/b47y2 Bumpsuit Shorts: https://rb.gy/j7261 Blanqi Shorts: https://rb.gy/n9oq3 Aritzia TNA legging (not maternity): https://tinyurl.com/m63y7z6pTry on haul video transcript:
What is up everyone? Welcome back. I'm particularly excited about today'ssubject, maternity leggings, because I feel like it's something that I personally
struggled with throughout my pregnancy and so I did a little bit of research, I
did some of the buying, I'm gonna be doing some of the returning of brands
that I don't feel are worth it so that you won't have to. I'm gonna keep the
intro pretty brief but before I dive into trying on some of the brands that I
bought, I want to mention a few things that I wish I knew. I am six months
pregnant now officially and I have yet to wear a maternity legging so I would
really encourage you to ride out all of your leggings as far as you can. If
you're anything like me, you probably already own so many different pairs
from your pre-pregnancy period. I had gym leggings, athleisure leggings, leggings
that were just super soft just to like lounge around, particularly the super
soft ones I still am wearing till this day. You'll also see that a lot of
maternity leggings, they ride so high up like right under your boob and that's
just not my personal style. For example, I'm currently wearing the Aritzia T&A
butterlegging and it doesn't come all the way up. Hold on, let me stand up and
show you guys because I'm obsessed with this legging. So this is the T&A butter
legging by Aritzia. I think this is called the infinite legging. It's super
soft, it's super stretchy, I definitely have some room to grow. The closest
legging that I could compare it to is probably the A-line by Lululemon. I'm
pretty sure that I would be comfortable getting just the extra high-waisted
leggings by Lululemon but I feel like A-line leggings are just a little too
thin in my opinion versus the T&A butterlegging is just a little bit
thicker. Like the way that I feel snatched in these, I love this fabric so
much like I even got a bra when I went to go get these leggings and I just
sized up in the bra and it's super comfortable. I don't feel like it's like
really clenching my back. I don't like it when tops do that and related to
what I was saying earlier, it doesn't come up super high waist. Like I still
want to look cute and like feel sexy. I don't want something to cover my entire
stomach. So the fact that I can just buy a regular legging that is stretchy and
that just makes me still feel a little bit sexy, I'll just like put this shirt
that I had on over it and go run some errands, go about my day. Like this is a
cute outfit for me. It wasn't until now where I feel like alright things are
getting a little bit tight. I need a little bit more support that I realize
like it's time to invest in maternity leggings. Now I'm probably not gonna buy
a whole bunch of different ones. Like now I only have about three months left of
my pregnancy so I'll just buy like one or two during this time period. With that
said, I have some leggings behind me that I want to try on. A lot of them
you've probably seen before on your social media. If you've read any kind of
pregnancy content, I'm pretty sure that one of these brands has hit you with an
ad. I'm gonna try on some brands that girlfriends recommended to me. I love
when I get a recommendation of the same product from different people because
that really means that it's good. So let's get into it. Okay the first
maternity leggings that I bought from a brand are shorts actually. I am pregnant
during the summer so I felt like I really needed maternity shorts just to
kind of wear again maybe with an oversized shirt so that it wouldn't be
too hot. And this brand is Blanky. That's B-L-A-N-Q-I. After trying it on again
like why is this so high? I wish I had something that was maybe like here maybe
that could be a little bit cuter. In terms of the material itself, it feels
like this like spandexy shapewear kind of material. I definitely feel like
because it's so high like this part seems to like be I don't know I just
don't feel too comfortable here like I don't see why I need to have something
just super tight in my upper waist. Another thing that's confusing about
these shorts is they're not really advertised as like shapewear but given
the design you can kind of see that it's not really smooth throughout. There's
like some fabric lining here. There's the line that's exposed here that just makes
it look like shapewear. It wasn't really advertised as shapewear. I was hoping to
wear these like on a summer day maybe with you know a loose shirt over it or
a tank top and I don't know if I feel comfortable doing that because I don't
know if it looks like I'm wearing shorts or shapewear. If it's tight now the
bigger I get the tighter it'll feel so these are getting returned
unfortunately. You probably guessed that this brand was gonna be a part of this
review because they do not stop hitting me with ads on my social media. Alright
everyone this is called the legging by Bumpsuit. Upon first trying this it felt
very comfortable. I could see myself wearing this during the fall period not
now and I say that because the material is hold on I have another like a short
version of this one that I could just pull up because I got both the shorts
and the longer legging and the material well it's super soft it does feel like
butter it just feels a little bit thicker you know almost like like almost
like suede I guess. I'm just very hesitant to wear this during the summer
this retails for $92 and the length is pretty good I am 5'9 for reference. The
reason why I was a little bit disappointed with this legging is
because I'm happy that there's like smoothness here and not a lot of
stitching but for some reason there's just like a lot of again gap here this
is not coming too too high up on the waist I'm wondering if the gaps will
smoothen out the bigger I get which might be the case but I don't know for
now I just wasn't super impressed by this legging it just feels very warm
not good for summer as we get into the fall period maybe then I might find this
useful. I also love for my leggings to feel like they're almost kind of stuck
to me but not choking me if that makes sense and I feel like this one's just a
little loose in areas it's not very fitted in areas that I want it to be. I'm
wondering too that since I only have three more months left in my pregnancy
if I should find another maternity legging I did get one from Target that
I'm gonna try on that feels promising a lot of my girlfriends recommended it I'm
wondering if I should just use credit for this legging and then get the
jumpsuit instead I see a lot of influencers wearing their jumpsuit not
a lot of people wearing like the legging quickly just threw on the short
maternity legging by Bumsuit and just zooming in a little bit here material
is soft and there's just still like this this gap here and I don't know why I
don't know if it'll stick to my skin necessarily the bigger my belly gets I
don't know I just wish that there was like it was just more snatched here
because that just doesn't really show me that this legging is supportive. What is
holding these shorts up is the band and the legging also has this it's just
kind of a band I don't feel like it chokes me but it definitely holds the
pants up but other than that the rest of the material just feels all the same I
don't feel a lot of support here necessarily since I do live in New York
and it's gonna get cool soon I think I'm gonna return these it's just very high
and doesn't really fit my vibe or my style I feel more supported in my
non-maternity leggings by Aritzia for example with like some stitching here
than I do with these because there's just nothing really supporting me other
than the band holding the shorts up from writing down. So I just opened another
package and I realized it wasn't the Target legging so I'm gonna wait for
that to come in so that I could try it on and add it to this video. Alright you
guys I just got the Target maternity leggings let's try it on I'm actually
shook. $30. The tax and everything I think it came out to like $35 and it
literally feels so soft.
So it doesn't come up super high. I could definitely see me living in these once
my belly gets bigger. It has like that spandexy like shapewear material for the
band but it's not like clenching at my waist it's just literally sitting on it
still supporting the belly the only stitching that there is is around the
hip which I love and the material what the heck. Are you kidding me?
I'm like I was a little bit worried about the length because my two
girlfriends that recommended this are a little bit shorter than me but it's
perfect. This is called the Luxe Essential maternity
legging from Target and look it's not super gappy here there are no lines.
Vero if you're watching this you are not wrong because what the heck and I'm
wearing like underwear that has like a lot of stitching so the fact that it's
like hiding pretty well already under these leggings and these are kind of
thin I'm super impressed. Trying to like play with the material to give you guys an
idea it's breathable it's stretchy $30 like literally returning everything else
because this is so soft these are going immediately in the washer so I can wear
them ASAP there's nothing better than when something is not like tightening
around your waist. Target you just did it for me thank you. Let me know if

out. It's time for me to go eat my lunch because this mama's extra hungry. The
hunger also hits you at night and I didn't know this like I feel so
ravenous when I wake up in the middle of the night it's been crazy and I heard
that I'm gonna feel extra hungry while I'm breastfeeding as well. I hope you
