Try on haul video transcript:

Hi guys, welcome back. Today I have another activewear and fitness brand review, Tryon
Hall for you guys. This time we're covering Lazuli Label. So I don't know much about this
brand. Honestly, I've just seen a couple of people use it online and I decided to go ahead
and give it a shot. So here we have only four little things. That's all I could snatch.
So they had a new launch and I was only able to get a couple of things because things sold
out super fast. And when I say fast, I mean like super fast. So I was planning on getting
the pink scrunch leggings and the pink bra and everything just started disappearing from
my cart and it was heck thick, like for real. And I was only able to get a few things, but
I was still able to get the leggings and the shorts and the sports bra matching sports
bra set, which you see on me now, we're going to get into that now. But basically we got
a few things and this video is going to be really short. So sit back and relax and we're
just going to dive right into it because there's not that much to cover, but I do want to give
you guys details because I hope that's what you're here for. And that's what I'm offering
So let's just go right in. All right, guys, so I'm going to go over the prices, which
this is really affordable. It's a really affordable brand that much I like because we're all here
for the affordable brands. Like if you want Lululemon, Aloe Yoga and stuff like that,
maybe we'll do a video on that some of the time. But right now, right here, we're doing
the Zulule label and this is affordable, which is the important thing. Okay, so we're starting
off with the scrunch seamless ribbed contour shorts. And this is the color pairwinkle blue.
So these are the shorts. I just dropped a silica packet. These are the shorts. And as
you can see, these are a little bit longer than six inches. I'm going to go ahead and
pull out my measuring tape for you guys and measure these because these are quite a bit
longer than six inches. Pairwinkle blue is the color. And the one important thing to
remember with these is that this is contoury. So as you can see right here, just from holding
up the shorts, you can see that this was made to contour your butt. And of course, we have
a little scrunch seam right there, which is pretty stretchy, to be honest. But this is
going to compare. I think it's going to compare a lot to the Alphalete Amplify. Once we have
them on, I'll be able to tell you. But this is going to be one of those shorts or and
their leggings that is really uplifting. And also with the scrunch, it's going to be giving
you some glute separation if you're not a fan of, you know, having that uni-butt situation.
This is going to help you a lot. So the inseam on this one is actually a whopping nine and
a half inches. So guys, if you're not into this length, I don't know. I would say, well,
we can roll them up. We're going to see how this looks when we roll them up. But from
the gusset, from the gusset down to the edge of these shorts, nine and a half inches, nine
and a half inches. So this is a long one. This is a long one. As you can tell, this
is not very tapered. So it goes straight across in the most basic and simple way. It does
not have three tiers. Like if you guys know Alphalete Amplify, if you guys are fans of
that specific legging, this is not like that at all. This is basically just a solid seam
right down across your waist. And it continues all along down the side here. I'm going to
get as close as possible so I can show you guys. And then it just continues ribbed all
the way down. See that? And then we're just going to, I'm going to turn them around. And
then you see this little, you see this sag? This isn't, this is because they create this
extra fabric in order for your glutes to sit in there. So if you have big glutes or you
have small glutes, it doesn't matter. You're going to fit here. And this is very stretchy
material. Now, one thing that this is different than Amplify right away is the thickness of
it. These leggings are thick. And I mean thick, like you hold this in your hand and hold Alphalete
Amplify in your hand. And this is completely different, completely different. All right.
So when it finishes from here, from the glute, it just continues ribbing along with the front.
The front is the same, no front seam. And one thing that I noticed is that it has two
little lines right here that pretty much just come down. I'm not sure if this is probably
just for design. I don't think this actually alters you in the front in any way, but we'll
have to try them on in order to know. And yes, I do have the tag still on because well, after
I've tried this on, I'm trying this on with you guys for the first time. So I'm not sure
how these are going to fit if I'm going to like them. So at the end of the video, I'll
let you know whether these are a keeper or if we're going to be doing a return. The logo
is very small, very simple. And the one thing that I love the most, tonal. So it's hidden
right there. I don't even know if you guys can see it. It's here right where my finger
is pointing to. And it's very tonal. I love that. We do not need a logo that's basically
in your face shining at you the whole time. So these are going to be the first one that
I'm going to try on. Let's get into it. Okay, here we have the shorts. Guys, I'll be honest
right now. I like the shorts more than I like the leggings. Why is that? I feel like there's
a little bit more stretch to them. I feel like I can stretch a lot more in this. Maybe
it's just my imagination. I do feel like, okay, I have to keep adjusting my underwear
because I feel like I keep moving off to the side. If you know what I mean. So I felt like
I keep having to adjust it. I'm not sure if that's the shorts. I usually don't have to
adjust myself in my shorts or in my pants a whole lot. But it is what it is. Just something
to note if this is something that you're. You might not be wondering that, but yeah.
So this is how they look. Not really giving any camel toe. I'm moving open and closed
so that you guys can see how it looks with the legs open. Obviously, if you have any
pants that have a front seam, they give you camel toe. If you're standing with your legs
apart or maybe with the hip on either side, you'll be able to see that less. But the true
test is when you close your legs, if you see it, well then you know. However, these I don't
feel like they're giving any camel toe, which is superb. Wonderful. The waistband is stretchy.
Like the leggings. Very comfortable. It does cause a little bit of sandwiching or muffin
top spilling, but not so bad because it's not that compressive. Here is the little tonal
logo. I love that it's tonal. I love that it's simple. It almost looks like a moon.
Or as I'm viewing it, it almost looks like a sea. So nine and a half inches in length.
What happens if you're a six inch fan? Because of the fact that this is ribbed down here
and ribbing makes it more compressive on the leg. I feel like I'm not going to be able
to really make it that six inch more like more like a seven inch really. OK, so yeah,
I'm not going to be able to because of the way that the contouring is, I won't be able
to make it fully like a six inch because the contour ribbing is cutting in, cutting into
the leg. I don't know if you can see that. My legs are like being sausage right here
and they're spilling out because these shorts are not really meant to be worn as six. If
you don't have bigger thighs like I do, I guess that won't be so much of a problem or
this is something that you don't mind. But I do feel like this is starting to cut in
at this point. And also I feel the compression all the way up here because of that ribbing
contour. So this is not this is not ideal. This is not an ideal short to try to mimic
it to make it become a six inch. If this is something that you don't really like, I don't
really like the way it looks like this. This is how it looks in the back this way. As you
can see it like because my butt just sits a little lower, it is causing these cuts,
straight up cuts here. If this is something you like, well then this is what you have
to go for. But I really I'm not a fan of it looking like this. Okay, and as is this is
how it looks the way it's supposed to look. So if we pulled it up, it would look something
different. We're gonna go through that now. But this is how it looks normally. I would
say it's not bad. I really like the blue a lot more than I like that other color. So
scrunch is doing its thing. Although, like I said, not that much different from the Alphalete
Amplify. It's not really doing a whole lot more. So if you're going back and forth between
this and the Alphalete Amplify, I would say it's up to you. It's about the same. If you
want a thinner material, stick with Amplify. If you want a thicker material, stick to these.
If you want something more affordable, stick to these. If you want something a little bit
maybe more durable, stick to Alphalete Amplify. But I wouldn't be able to say anything about
it being durable, not quite yet. And here's the squat. I do feel like it's a little bit
sheer. I feel like this one is a little bit sheer, indeed. And the contouring sits right
below your glutes. Yeah, the seams are basically almost like kind of like making a heart over
here. You know, with this little, like, V, almost like a widow's peak situation going
all the way around, leaving only your glutes not ribbed. And here are the scrunched seamless
ribbed contour leggings. And these are in size medium. So these are the color bone gray.
This is the only color I was able to get. So I'm sorry, guys, if I disappoint you in
not getting the blue leggings or the pink ones, which are really the only colors that they offer.
They offer a lot of neutral colors, different shades of gray. If this isn't your gray,
they have a darker gray. They have a dark blue. They have brown, tons of colors. I'm going to go
ahead and link the website down below so that you guys could just click on it and go straight
over there if you're intrigued and you want to see what colors they offer. But yeah, so the
waistband is pretty thick, just like the shorts. They are very, I feel like they're like a heavy
duty ribbing. However, these do feel stretchy, very stretchy. They are not tapered, not very much so.
So they look very simple, like a square straight across all the way down. It does have this
ribbing. The ribbing is, guys, what is pretty much providing you all of this contouring along your
glutes. Just keep in mind that these leggings are made to bring attention to your glutes,
to flatter your glutes. So if you're looking for a legging that just sits on your butt and doesn't
really do anything, as in not contouring all the way around you, separating your glutes, anything
like that, this might not be the one for you. But if you're into that, then this one is.
Note front seam, as you can see. And the little
tonal logo. Okay, right back here you have your beautiful scrunch right there.
And then this extra material is, this is your little home for your glutes. So whether you have
a lot or you have a little, this is very stretchy material, you're going to be fitting right in
there very comfortably, I think. And then this little contour right here goes all the way around.
Then there's some more down the leg, on the side of the leg, not necessarily in the front. In the
front is solid. This is like a little bit of a moral to it. So, and then the ribbing goes all
the way to the back. So I just spent like the last five minutes looking for a tag on here.
There is no tag. So that's wonderful. Keep in mind, whenever you buy them, what size you're picking
up, because if you don't, then you might forget or keep in mind what you have, because this doesn't
say the size anywhere. It's not even printed on. If someday you want to give these away,
maybe you forget about them, they sit in your closet, whatever, and you go to give them away
and you're like, what size are these? Well, you're not going to have a tag. It's not going to say,
it doesn't say it anywhere. So just keep that in mind. For me, it's a good thing because in that
way you don't have that uncomfortable tag hanging down. But if it was printed on, that would be cool.
And yeah, let's try these on and see how they pair up to people like us that like
these kinds of leggings. So these are the Lazuli scrunch leggings. So these are the ones caught,
they're like famous. Everyone who is scrunch obsessed is buying these leggings and absolutely
raving about these leggings. So here they are in like a very tonal color. It is very simple and
very plain. It could be a little bit sheer. We're going to test that just in a second,
but this is what they look like. So I'm trying to get this up as high as possible because I don't
know if you can see that there's ribbing, contour ribbing all along right here. And then the ribbing
just continues down the side. So I tried to get this up as much as possible in order for
it to fall where it shouldn't fall. And here's what they look like. They are like a seven eighths
length. So like about 25, 26 inches. They're stretchy, but like I said, thick. So they might
not have that much stretch, at least when it comes to stretching it down to your ankle. I do feel like
I can try to get it down there, but it just kind of like comes up a little bit more. If I pull them
down too much, I feel like they are trying to come up. Like I feel like I'm just forcing them to stay
there. They are trying to rise as I'm doing that. I'm five, seven and a half. So I fall in that
category of about an average size. It's not so bad. I'm not that tall. Ladies that are taller than me,
they might have a little bit of an issue if they wanted this to be full length for sure. So
this is how it looks in the front. I don't believe it gives you any camel toe.
I have to look myself.
This is how it looks. Legs closed and open. I mean guys, you'd be the judge. I don't see anything.
There is gathering, but that's not unusual.
It's pretty good. It sits pretty high up on the waist and I'll be honest, this waistband is not
so compressive. I feel like the one I wore yesterday to the gym was a little bit more
compressive. So in comparison, I feel like it is much, much better. Not compressive hardly at all.
It does have stretch up here along the waistband. As you can see the little tonal logo.
I absolutely love it. It's in the front. I would rather not be in the front,
but it's not so bad because of the fact that it is tonal. So it matches with the leggings
and you can't really see it. So I don't have to be a billboard for anybody. So that's great.
And we're going to turn around to the back now, which is probably the part that everybody's most
waiting for. So here we have the leggings. I feel like I have a little bit of space back here.
Like they don't quite sit under my butt. Maybe if I pulled it up a bit more, it would sit
right there. I'm not trying to break them or anything.
And yeah, so one thing I will tell you is that I don't see that these are very good
for cellulite. I see my cellulite all over the place. If cellulite is something that you were
trying to conceal with this color, at least, although honestly, I believe that maybe with
any color with these leggings because of the fact that the contour goes all the way around.
If you have any cellulite on your glutes themselves, I believe you're going to see it.
You will see it similar to the awfully amplified. Those you can see cellulite to some colors help,
but not 100%. You know, sometimes you just have to give in to the cellulite. You know,
it is what it is, girls. It is what it is. So and as you can see, the
scrunch is sitting pretty well, to be honest with you. Okay, if I had to compare these
to the awfully amplified, I'm going to tell you right now, there's not that much of a difference.
It is very close, if not all the way similar. If you have bigger glutes than I do,
which I'm sure that a lot of people do, if you have bigger glutes than I do, these might be for
you. However, for someone like me who has it's mostly more along the flat side. I'll be honest,
this and awfully amplified are pretty much the same thing. That's how they fit in my body. All
the contouring is really cool. But if I had to keep one, if I had to keep one, it will probably
be the amplifier, just because they're so similar. These are not really doing that much for me,
as in increasing even more. But that's just my opinion. The ribbing, the contour ribbing goes
all the way around the glutes in order to give you even from this point, this V, to give you
that effect of more, you know, basically, it's trying to catch your attention. And let's see
now if they're squat proof or not. I have to turn around and look back myself because I cannot sell.
I would say half and half. If I had to rate it on a scale of zero to 10, I would say you can see
these quite a bit. The thicker material, thick material is good. However, it doesn't change that
much because I'm looking at it through my light and I am seeing quite a bit of shadowing. You can
see the shadow towards the center. I am wearing seamless underwear, but you can see the shadow
towards the center and I can't quite put that whether it's squat proof or not. In this color,
at least, I would say probably not. But like I said, like a zero between a zero
to 10, I would say about five, five and a half. So that's about kind of squat proof,
but not exactly because there's a little bit of a there's a bit of a shadow there in the middle.
Once again, I have my light here aimed at me so that could affect its squat proofness.
The one thing I would probably just say is that the amount of cellulite that I see
is not making me feel the most comfortable. Otherwise, I would 100 percent be into these
and especially in this color. This color is really nice. However, there is the fact that it's
so light that it could be giving off shadows when you squat. If you're squatting and you
don't really care about this, have at it. OK, next up we have the open back long sleeve.
Now this one is not part of that drop or launch that just finished happening, but I went ahead
and got it anyway. Just I'm a fan of these little crop tops. I just don't know if they're going to
be any functional at all. I just tried out one on that I didn't really like it that much. It was
very thick. This one feels very thin in comparison. It has a really wide open back right here.
I wish I had gotten in another color so that you guys can see because black is a little
difficult to see. But once I have it on, you'll be able to see it better. So this one I got it in
size medium. By the way, everything I've gotten is down in the description box below. I'm going to
have the website linked so that you guys can see it. Also, all of my measurements are in the
description below so that you guys can have that as reference. But basically everything except for
the sports bra I got in size medium. The sports bra I got in size small. So this one is basically
just your long sleeve crop. However, this does not have any bra pads or anything like that inside.
It's just basically a shirt material. It is soft but not very brushed. It is very basic. There's
no contouring. It is just solid. It is very solid. I'm going to see how this fits when I have it on.
It does have a tag on the side so that's going to fall on your left side shoulder. That could
get a little bit annoying but we'll see that. Let's try it on. There's not much to say about this one.
It's a pretty simple top. Okay guys, so here is the top. This is what it looks like.
It is simply too tight for me. I'll be honest. This is simply too tight. I went with my regular
size medium and if I would have known that it was going to be this tight, I would have gone with a
size large. Honestly, if you're into feeling this tight, you know, all along your arms and across
your chest and everything, then I would say stick to the size. But being warned, there is,
I feel like almost like an extreme tightness to this top compared to the one that I tried on for
my women's best review. That one felt less tight than this one. This one feels very tight, not just
down the arms of course, but all the way across my chest, across my breasts and I almost feel like
if I wasn't wearing a bra under this, I would be spilling out from the sides in this very moment.
So here's what it looks like in the back. It is very cute in the back. If you decide to wear this
plain Jane, you know, maybe whether or not you want to put cup pads or anything inside because
this doesn't have a bra, if you did that, this would look really nice. But if you're wearing a
bra, then you would have to figure out how you can, you know, if you don't want all this bra
section to be seen, you would have to figure out what kind of bra you have that would be
thinner than this strap, this band right here in order to hide it. I don't think it actually looks
bad like this with this bra anyway, because this is a halter bra, so the majority of my back,
you still see it. If you're trying to show off your back, you know, you have a really nice chiseled
back or even if you don't, you feel comfortable with it how you are, then this is how it'll look.
It is really nice. I'll be honest, it's just I would have sized up to a large if I hadn't known.
It is very short lined, so I feel like I almost can't hide the bra. The bra is going to be peeking
out underneath. So if you're wearing this with a bra, it's just going to keep trying to come out.
Any stretching you may do, you'll have a bra underneath. Be warned, you're going to see it
underneath. And let me take off the, so you guys can see the front. It has a nice scoop neck. I'm
telling you, I really like it, except I would go with a large just for me, for my personal taste.
I feel like it's too tight across my breasts right now. I'm a 34C. I don't have a ton,
but this bra does have a little bit of padding underneath and maybe the bra underneath is just
adding to it. So if you were to wear this with just like some cup pads or some nipple covers,
you know, that would look cool too. I don't know about being that lightweight at the gym,
me myself, but. Okay. And here we have the halter neck bra. So this one is in size small.
And as you can see, she has a little adjustable strap. I found this out just after wearing it.
This is indeed very helpful for you ladies that might be looking for support on a halter neck
bra. This is very, very handy. I really like that. That is one feature that I will be saying
makes a ton of difference for those of you who have slightly larger breasts, like maybe larger
than a big cup, like a C cup like me. If you're looking for support, this has the support thanks
to this little adjustable little buckle right there. Okay. This is the color bone gray.
I had to look that up just for a second. And she does have little removable cup pads,
which feel kind of thick. These don't feel as thin as any of the other ones I've ever felt. So
if you need extra padding, this bra is providing it for you. If you're not into the extra padding,
which I don't feel like I necessarily need it, you might want to take these out, swap them for
other ones. But yeah, it does come with some nice heavy duty padding right in there. This is how it
looks in the back, just your basic halter. And then the logo fabulously is right back here.
Nice and tonal right there.
Looks very nice. So this is a longline bra, a bit of a longline bra, because
the ribbing is basically making it just a little bit longer for you. And it is comfortable, very
thick material. And it has this cute little roosh right there in the front. If you can see it,
it kind of gives me like a little bit of a Gymshark vibe.
Yeah, let's try it on. Front here.
Okay, I went and adjusted this
all the way so that I can give myself a little bit of a lift. And now this bra looks completely
different. If I don't put this in the final video, just note that I was saying that this bra does not
fit well because it has no adjustability. But then I went and found the adjustability. And wow,
that makes a huge difference. So as you can see, I've almost adjusted it all the way to the end
of the bra all the way on the other side. So this little adjuster starts in the back of the neck.
And then you could just pull it down and pick the girls up to your desired position because
I can adjust it. This looks way better, way better. So now let's see the support.
And look at that. Just with a switch, just by finding that adjustable little buckle,
has made a world of difference with this bra. Now suddenly from being light support,
I would say this is almost medium support. So now I can actually not worry about spilling out
all over the place. I am not at risk of coming out at all. Before I found that little adjuster,
I was at risk of losing everything because it was so low. But now this is much, much better. And I
would say that my opinion of this bra has totally changed because at the beginning I was like,
what is this? This is a disaster. This is not a great bra. And I have just changed my mind.
And I have just changed my mind. At least for me personally, much, much better. It's a long line,
as you can see. This little ruching, super cute. It gives me like Gymshark vibes a little bit.
It's very nice guys. It's very nice. What do you think? So it is adjustable. It does have
the adjustability right here. I have it pulled all the way, almost all the way, almost completely
to the other side of the bra in order to pick me up. But as you can see, it's a full on halter,
which is really nice. This is very, it compliments your back if you have like a
nice muscular back, you know. So I do like that. I do like the halter part of it.
Okay guys, just because I remembered that I did not tell you the price in the beginning of the
video, you heard that this was affordable. You might not know how affordable this is.
So I'm going to go over it with you. The seamless ribbed contour leggings
were $50. The halter neck top, which is a halter neck bra, is $37. The Nola open back long sleeve
top was $33. And the Sculpt scrunch seamless ribbed contour shorts were just $48. So this is why
I'm saying that this brand is much more affordable than a brand like Alphalete. If you're looking for
something, maybe you're testing scrunching out, not scrunching out. That's not a word. Well,
maybe it is. Who knows? But if you're testing out a scrunch legging and you want to try Lazuli label,
I actually do recommend this brand. They are affordable. And if you buy these, they are very,
very similar to Alphalete. If you're looking for an affordable Alphalete dupe or something like that,
this is definitely a good brand. Keep in mind though, these leggings, the shorts,
they are a thick material. So this is not quite like the Amplifies because the Amplify is like a
thin Italian yarn kind of fabric. So that's the difference. So I cannot speak for the durability
of them. If you have these, I am curious, if you have these, leave a comment down below if they're
durable at all. And that way I know, and then other people know how durable these, these shorts
and these leggings, this material actually is. When it comes to the price, the price is pretty much
magnificent. I would say I love the price on these. I really wish that Alphalete had prices
like these because honestly, it's just so much money. But it's like I often say, when you want
that motivation to get yourself to go to the gym or just work out at home, it doesn't even matter.
You know, you're just concentrating on taking care of yourself because you have to put yourself
first. And that's, that's, that's very important. I'm rambling. I'm going to stop. But basically,
these are definitely really good material and a very good brand. I like the sports bra.
Although the sports bra is not, it's not my thing. To be honest with you, I feel like I need even
more support. When it comes to a halter situation, it's kind of difficult to achieve,
especially for women like me who prefer to have a bit more support. The adjustable strap does help,
but it is very limited. So that will probably be going back to. And the long sleeve crop,
I do like it, but I wish I had gotten it in size large. Remember, guys, this is just my opinion.
But if I were you, I would size up. If you're regularly a medium, get large. If you're
regularly a large, get an extra large. If they offer that, just keep that in mind because they
do. I feel like they do run a little bit small. And that pretty much concludes this lazuli label
haul. I hope I was able to give some kind of insights as to how good these, this active wear
brand actually is. I feel like they're going to be coming out with more stuff. I don't know
anything. I really don't know anything. Like I'm in the dark, completely in the dark. But I feel
like they might be coming out with some more colors in the future. So keep that in mind.
Watch out for them. If you really like the pink, maybe they restock. If you like the blues,
maybe they restock. Maybe you just want to give them a shot in black. Black is a great color.
I'm wearing it right now. You know, just saying it could hide the satellite a little bit better
for the leggings and the shorts. So if you're wanting to check them out, yeah, keep your eye
