Today is the most exciting video
These are my absolute favorite videos to film
Today is an Alphalete Amplify review
I feel like we haven't done an Alphalete video in a while
And I think that's because the last couple drops have just been more focused on men's items
But we finally have some new Amplify
And this round of Amplify does have some adjustments
So we have some things to go over
We have all new colors, new fit
So this is going to be super exciting

So I can make sure I get everything I want
I think that covers my basis
So let's get into this review
I want to start with the shorts because I think that is what everyone wants to see the most
And personally it is the thing that I was the most excited to try
So I'm going to read the changes that Alphalete said that they made on these shorts
Before we go over what I think
So Alphalete said that
This Amplify launch will feature our new and improved waistband
Both the leggings and the shorts will feel less compressive in the waist
And will now sit slightly lower than before
A fresh take on our Amplify without altering the famous glutes crunch you've come to love
Now, thinking of the shorts
I can definitely tell a difference in the waistband on me
I am wearing a size extra extra small
I got an extra extra small in all of the pieces that I'm going to be showing you today
I don't think I feel that the waistband is any less compressive
That's just how it's fitting me
I will say I do feel like some of the colors fit a little different amongst this drop
But that is a pretty standard thing to happen for any clothing brand
Just with washes and everything
Different colors will a lot of times produce a different fit
Only very very slight
Very very minimal difference
But this pair I think is a nice mid-range
When looking at the colors as far as the fit goes
On me the fit in the waistband does feel the same
I don't notice a change
If I didn't say anything I wouldn't have thought anything different
But I will say I do notice the change in the waistband
This is for sure sitting lower on me
I am someone who does not like rolling their leggings
And I can tell that this is hitting my waist at a lower point than normal
I like that because I have a shorter torso
So this is I think a little bit more flattering on my body
It is just a subtle little tweak that they made
This is my favorite color from the drop
So if I had one color to recommend it would be this one
I think this is such a nice color
It's really different from everything else
That has come out and Alphalete now has a million colors
So if you are like me and you have all of them
I do think this one is worth grabbing
I am really happy that I got my hands on it
Now for the crop top
This is one of my favorite tops that Alphalete does
I find this to be so flattering
And I like that this color is opaque enough
That you don't need to wear a sports bra with it
There are no sports bras in this drop
This top by no means has any support in it or anything
Like you just kind of hang it in there
But that doesn't bother me
I don't really find I need support when I'm weightlifting
So for me this is perfect
And I think it's super comfortable to not have to wear a sports bra
Or any bra for that matter
I despise wearing bras so I simply never do it
Rating this outfit you already know what I'm going to give it
I'm going to give it a 10
This color is a close second for favorite
I really like this blue with my hair color
And normally I'm not a big fan of super rich toned colors
I think you would call this color palette rich
Maybe jewel tone
I think these are jewel tone colors
Which I don't always think look the best on me
I'm more of a neutrals girl
But I'm feeling good about this color
This is the Galactic Ocean color
Again I have on the short sleeve crop top and the leggings
There are no long sleeve crop tops in this drop
We only have the leggings, shorts, and short sleeve
I'm just going to be saying the color names from now on
Because I don't want to sound too repetitive
A lot of times when I edit these I'm like oh my god stop talking
We'll go over the top just a little since it is the same
This is again opaque enough where I don't feel you need anything under it
There is no detailing or anything on this top
Just the logo here so it is a very clean look
Super stretchy and again I am a size extra extra small
The leggings I feel like you can really tell here that the waistband is different
At least when I tried it on
Gotta make sure we get these nice and into the glutes

You can't tell me this isn't just the most flattering thing ever
These are my favorite leggings
We already know this
I am just obsessed with them
So cute
Just make me want to hop around
Let me really get you a full body
I think I'm all the way back
As you can see they are a perfect length
A lot of you asked how tall I am
I am just under 5'5
Guys I want to give this outfit another 10
Is that fair?
Are we allowed to do that?
Now this color
This is the color electric purple
Personally this is not a color I really like
I sound like a broken record at this point
But I don't like purple
I don't like purple on me
I just don't think it suits me
So this very rich tone of purple is just not doing it for me
This is again a great color because it is nice and opaque
So I don't feel the need to wear a sports bra under this
And if you care about how squat proof it is
You are fine in this one
I think this color is like the Hulk
So if you pair these two
You really get the Hulk vibes
I'll put this color on next and we'll get into it
But I think that is a nice way to express what this color is
Just think of the Hulk's shorts
I think it's a short set of purple
I was just talking about the Hulk the other day
Does he have purple shorts?
I can feel it in my bones that he has purple shorts
It is green
Because I am a genius
Looking a little hulky
Hulkish
Hulk hulky
It sounds like a word I shouldn't say
But I just mean I look like not Hulk Hogan
Oh my god
Hulk angry Hulk
This is the color emerald green
Love the name
Makes me think of Minecraft
Which guys I'm going to start streaming on Twitch playing Minecraft
So you guys better be excited or I'm gonna be upset
Because I'm really looking forward to live streaming
And being able to talk to everyone more
But that is not what we are discussing today
We are discussing these shorts
I only got the shorts in this color
Because honestly I just knew I wasn't gonna like it
I think on maybe someone else it would look really cute
But it's just not my cup of tea
I still think it's making my butt look good
So that's a win
Like this looks really nice
I'm just not feeling the cutest
Our final color of the drop is the color cotton candy
Now this color is so beautiful
But it is so sheer
Hopefully the camera's picking this up
The tag is right here
And you can completely see through it
And the top is so sheer that I had to put on a white sports bra
Since I don't like the look of layering
I won't ever wear this top
Just because I like the way these tops look with nothing under them
So even though this color is absolutely beautiful
And I feel like a little Barbie in it
It just does not work for me
And I'm so upset
