Oh, I'm so excited, I'm scared, okay, hey it's Ella and welcome to my YouTube channel.
I haven't posted a video in like six months, I filmed, I just don't end up editing it and
then I feel like it's too late and a lot of the videos I filmed I had a nose piercing,
now it's gone because it got infected, I had to take it out, I was allergic to the jewelry
and then I changed it too early, then it got infected and then I got medication and then they told me to take it out and then I didn't take it out and then I eventually took it out because it got infected again.
Once I get a patch test and see what metal I'm allergic to, I will be getting a nose piercing again, but
I'm back. I really hope no one from my school is watching this because I'm like scared of everyone at my school, but whatever.
Today I'm gonna be doing an Alphalete review. This is an honest, non-biased review.
I feel like all like the reviews or hauls on YouTube are people who have promo codes and literally do photo shoots for Alphalete, so
this one's unbiased. I normally buy from Gymshark, Lululemon, I've bought them from Set Active in the past, but I don't anymore.
So I'll kind of compare it to those brands. I haven't tried Navigation or there's any other ones I'm missing, but those are the main popular ones that I know of.
Today I'm trying the Seamless Amplify shorts, I think they're called.
I got the shade True Indigo, the length is four and a half, a lot of the reviews people get like the six inch one, but I'm short, I'm 5'3 for reference,
and I normally like hike it up, but like six inches is too much to hike up. Yeah, okay.
This is the packaging, I only got one pair of shorts. If I end up liking these, then I'll buy some more. I'll do a haul on it, since I only got one thing this time,
because they're pretty expensive and I live in Canada, so it's more expensive than it originally is.
So I wasn't going to go and buy like five pairs of shorts, one they could be bad. So this is the packaging.
I live in Canada and it shipped the next day, and it came like in two days, but I did the express shipping since it was only like $5 more.
It actually came from Canada too, even though I think they're a US brand, I'm not sure.
This is the little bag packaging, it's pretty nice compared to other places I've ordered from.
This is the color. Oh my god, okay, and it comes with like that.
It's like a dark like royal blue. This is the back, the little like butt scrunch in it.
It's supposed to be really flattering for the booty, and I hope it fits good.
I know they have a lot of size and consistencies with the different like launches and colors, and so I did my research.
I watched different videos on YouTube of the people who literally have the promo code saying that it's awfully amazing,
but they have a promo code and they literally do photo shoots for them, so like, would they tell me if it was bad?
Anyways, I got a size small. They said that this drop runs a little smaller, so I got a small instead of extra small.
I'm going to see how it fits and what it looks like, and I'm going to give you my thoughts compared to the other brands.
I have the shorts on. I like hiked them up. I'll show you them full length, but this is them hiked up.
I really like the color. I think it's really flattering.
I also want to note that I had lunch and I had like a bagel.
The stuff you see on Instagram, like it's not normal. I'm going to show you it posed.
I'm going to show you it relaxed because a lot of that shit's fake.
Like everyone who shows out pics like they'll flex, but I'm going to show you it so that like you know what it looks like both ways.
Also, I paired it with this bra. I really like it. It's like it scoops here.
It's a black bra and then this is the back of the bra. I got it off Amazon.
I really recommend it's the whatever that is.
I really like the rise of these shorts. I feel like it's a good length.
I do think I would repurchase this if I'm being honest because the fabric is a lot nicer than Gymshark.
I feel like Gymshark fabric is a little too tight and compressing and just like even here for the shorts.
The band like around the legs for Gymshark. I feel like it's too tight and it can like look weird on me and then set active.
I feel like it's too loose. Could also be because the products I have are too big.
But I feel like this is the best material I've tried out of all three brands.
I also really like the length and the rise of it for this launch that they had.
I'm pretty sure this one they made the waist more cinching.
But I think their newer stuff is like more of a looser waist, less tight, which I prefer that.
But I really liked this color. I wanted to try it.
OK, so I was a little scared that the cinching would be like too much in the shorts.
But I'd say it's really subtle, like it's not that noticeable.
And I feel like it's not like a huge difference, but there's just it adds a little bit of definition.
This one is four and a half. If I put it full length, not like up, this is the length and I'm five three.
So I don't know how long my torso is.
Also, I have a belly button piercing and I feel like it's not very too compressing that like it hurts,
like irritates it since some shorts do that.
OK, these might be the best shorts I've ever bought and this isn't bad.
I swear to God, I swear to God, I'm buying more.
If you guys are interested in this, I would definitely subscribe because I'm going to be buying more and I swear I'm going to do a haul.
Actually, well, I'm going to start posting more often.
Well, I'm so excited that I have like a cute like gym outfit now.
And honestly, this outfit makes me feel really confident for the next time I go to the gym.
I rate these an 8.5 out of 10 because these are the most flattering shorts I've bought and I like the color.
I like the fit of them.
The material is amazing, like it's stretchy and it's soft, but like softest seamless I've gotten.
And I love the fit of it so much.
It doesn't give camel toe, which even some seamless do give camel toe.
The reason why is an 8.5.
These are probably the best shorts I've ever gotten for the gym.
They just like made me feel so confident.
I feel like they're so flattering.
I love the color.
It's a dark color, so squat test doesn't really count since any dark color like you can wear whatever underwear with it.
That's another reason why I got a dark color.
It's an amazing material.
I love it.
Best material I've gotten for seamless from like any brand.
This is like my favorite that I've tried.
The only reason why I give one and a half off like of the 10 is because of the sizing inconsistencies.
Brands, like I know it's hard for them producing things, but I feel like the sizing inconsistencies make it so confusing trying to buy these like different shorts.
I had to go through like five different videos to find like one specific color to see what the sizing consistency is.
What the sizing is for that.
Does it run big? Does it run small? Is it true to size?
Every single launch for them is different, so it's like kind of confusing.
That's kind of hard, but still it was doable.
Another reason why it's not a 10 is because I personally don't prefer like the waist to be cinched that much because even if I am like good day, no bloating, nothing because right now I am bloated.
Even if I'm not bloated, like let's say I'm like that, right?
Because it like cinches, I feel like it like makes skin like fall out no matter what size I get, you know?
So I'm happy that their newer launches are like looser in the waist, but that's why I said that.
I think that was the only things I had to say about this.
I will be buying more, maybe a few shorts and a pair of leggings.
So I will do a haul on that as soon as it comes, which will be soon.
